CARRIE RICHEY, MRS. DELAWARE UNITED STATES 2010   As an advocate for animals, Carrie strives to be a voice for those who do not have one. In 2009, she graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College, with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She is now practicing as a licensed technician at the Dover Air Force Base Veterinary Clinic. As a volunteer with “A Buddy For Life”, Carrie actively promotes her platform by raising awareness of the importance of animal rescues and adoptions. She is also a member of the Delaware Tech Veterinary Technology Advisory Committee and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America. Along with animals, Carrie also has a dedication to children and is a mentor for “Big Brothers Big Sisters”.   When she’s not volunteering, Carrie can be found on the nearest basketball court or at sporting events with her husband, Justin.
