KATE COHEN,MRS. PENNSYLVANIA UNITED STATES 2009

At the age of six, Kate Cohen learned that one voice can make a difference in the lives of others when she organized her first benefit concert, Kid Aid. Continuing her lifelong goal of using her abilities to make a positive impact, Kate is grateful for the opportunity to represent the Keystone State as Mrs. Pennsylvania United States. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Kate has been a voice teacher at the Community Conservatory for nearly a decade where she guides singers of all ages and abilities to keep a song in their hearts. Through her platform, Arts for a Strong Community, Kate presents to local municipalities both the social and economic benefits of supporting community arts organizations. 

When she is not immersed in the arts, you can find Kate in the kitchen testing new recipes or on the beach reading a good book next to her husband and love of her life, Jonathan.
