ELIZABETH MCGHEE, MRS. D. C. UNITED STATES 2009

Elizabeth McGhee is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and co-owns, with her husband, Charles, North Oakland Veterinary Associates in Oxford, MI.  She and Charles have been married for 28 years and have nine children who were all home schooled.  They recently welcomed their first grandchild as well.

Elizabeth has a distinct passion for children’s health and volunteers extensively to promote healthy lifestyles for women and children not only in her community and the U.S., but throughout the world as part of the non-profit Mercy and Truth Medical Missions.  She is an International Team Leader, traveling  to Africa and other remote locations as well as serving on the Board of Directors.

Mrs. McGhee has authored two books and several articles and is a highly sought  after speaker for women’s organizations and home schooling conferences. 

Elizabeth also enjoys her life by piloting the family airplane, practicing karate, taking care of her chickens, turkeys and sheep, and spending quality fun time with her children.
