KATE COHEN won the title of Mrs. Pennsylvania United States 2009 at the one day spectacular state pageant held on May 24, 2009 where she competed as Mrs. Montgomery County.

The reigning Mrs. Maryland United States 2008, Regena Reigns was on hand to crown her successor. The dual state pageant, held along with it's Mrs. Pennsylvania United States counterpart, was held at The Whitaker Center's -  Sunoco Performance Theater - in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania . There was an American Idol theme and the opening showcased the ladies beautifully and was performed to "One Step at a Time" by Jordin Sparks.   Lorie McCauley  was the vocal entertainment, Dr. Kirstin Snow, Mrs. PA US 2004 and Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening also performed Orange Blossom Special on the violin and two Miss Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen titleholders: Kaitlyn Miller, Miss State Capitol Outstanding Teen 2009 and  Cassie Cerulli, Miss MidState Outstanding Teen 2009 were the dance entertainment for the evening.

After a spectacular show, the special award winners, finalists and winners were announced. 

FINALISTS:

The first runner up was Kimberly Meehan, Mrs. Southeastern Pennsylvania and the 2nd runner up was Erin Bailey, Mrs. Southwestern Pennsylvania.  The other wonderful ladies that competed were:  Danielle Crum, Mrs. Blair County, Barbara Burkart-Christian, Mrs. Chester County, Migdalia Pacheco, Mrs. Philadelphia, Ekeoma Ekeleme Washington, Mrs. Philadelphia County,
